Now, mind you, the weather was a mite uncooperative. It rained, it poured, it rained, it poured and everyone and his brother was telling "Noah" jokes and chatting about the cost of building an ark....
But through it all Dave and Seth persevered and were able to keep a bunch of veggies happy! Look at how fun this produce stand is right now!!!!
On the writing front, I have just signed a new six-book contract with Love Inspired Books.... Yay!!!!! I have several novellas coming out this fall/winter, including two "SEEKER" collections, a contemporary and a historical collection with the theme: "Hope for the Holidays"!!!! Oh, how fun it is to join up with my Seeker sisters and produce this collection together!!!!
There are a few BIG TIME SECRETS on the writing horizon too, but I can't speak of them until the signatures are dry on dotted lines..... Shhh...... Don't say you heard it here, okay????
I've just turned in the final Kirkwood Lake story, and I love it! Julia Harrison (she arrived in Kirkwood Lake in the second book "Falling for the Lawman" after her husband left her for a series of other women..... I love Julia, I love her moxy, I love her chutzpah and her faith-driven strength and how pleased I was to write her a happy ending....
We should see that book next spring!
There's a new grandchild on the way (A New Year's Baby Girl!!!) and the yard's a jungle, the dogs have bits of this and that in their fur, the birds are eyeing the Southern sky and thinking they might have to take flight soon, but God's in his heaven... and we simple folk on Earth will join hands and pray for peace, tolerance, joy and love across the globe.
We are blessed to be here, to live here, to be American... God bless America.
